
PGY-III Rotations
A. General Medical Service, supervising resident
1. Three to four months.
2. Five calls per month covering general medical service.
3. See above description (Section III. A.)
B. Ambulatory Medical Clinic
1. One month.
2. Average 4-5 calls per month covering general medical service.
3. Supervise PGY-I and II residents, medical students and nurses.
4. Two half-days seeing own continuity patients.

C. Medical Consult Service
1. One month.
2. Average 3 calls per month covering general medical service.
3. Attending rounds daily with general medicine attending.
4. Evaluate patients on non-medical services (e.g. general surgery, orthopedics and obstetrics) for pre-operative evaluations or general medical care.
5. Pre-operative evaluation clinic 2-3 half days per week.
D. Electives
1. Four months.
2. Average 4-5 calls per month covering general medical service.
E. Continuity Clinic
1. Two half-days during elective and ambulatory, � day during floor (plus Urgent Visits as needed for own patients) and unit supervisory months.

F. Vacation: Four weeks.
