Dr. Adam Perzynski recently presented work at the CTRL + ALT + CLE: Data Days event, Cleveland’s first annual celebration of civic technology, data & the doers working to improve our region. Adam presented findings from research on how inequality in broadband internet access is constraining patients from receiving the full benefits of health care services. In particular, patients who live in neighborhoods with poor quality internet access face often insurmountable challenges in using electronic patient portals to communicate with their healthcare providers.
