Visiting Professor Frank Harrell, PhD Held Seminar

Frank Harrell , Ph.D., founding Chair of the Department of Biostatistics at Vanderbilt University, visited on Tuesday, May 22 to give a seminar entitled “Presenting Regression Models to Clinicians”. Dr. Harrell has devoted his career to the study of patient outcomes. In particular he has worked on accurate prognostic and diagnostic models. Dr. Harrell`s work has been applied to health services and outcomes research, technology evaluation, observational databases, and clinical trials.
