Maillart Twice Honored in 2005

Lisa Marie Maillart, PhD faculty in the Weatherhead School of Management and member of the Center for Health Care Research and Policy received an award for her published work and her award for research and scholarship at the end of 2005.

Dr. MaillartÕs paper ÒOptimal Timing for Living-Donor TransplantationÓ was the winner of the Most Outstanding Weatherhead School of Management Junior Faculty Paper Award. Her work examined the decisions faced by patients and surgeons when a donor liver becomes available.

Dr. Maillart was also recognized in the Spotlight Series Awards for WomenÕs Scholarship by the Flora Stone Mather Center for women. This award is given annually to eight female Case faculty for excellent contributions in research and scholarship. (posted 3/2006)
